For an opening band, they were really entertaining. Just two guitarists an some backing music,
this was the first time I had seen them, and heard of them, so when they came on stage i didn't
really know what to think, there opening song 'You can say no', was really catchy, they were
entertaining on stage and also managed to get the crowd doing some.... umm weird? dancing,
but was great. I think they are a band that most people can enjoy watching! They played a great
set and entertained the crowd!
The Dead Letters
Unfortunately this was The Dead Letters last show for six months, but they played a really good set,
probably one of the best sets they have played in a while. The band were very entertaining.
They did a cover of 'Anyway You Want It' by Journey, which they did very well. On the song
'Stories', the lead singer/guitarist, played the keyboard, Alice the keyboardist, played bass
guitar, Jamie the bassist played lead guitarist, wasn't as good as it normally would be,
but was still pretty impressive. And when they played the song 'Death of cool', Tom
from Clyde joined them and played the bass. So to clear things up they played a good
impressive set.
Failsafe
Well, for a start I had never heard of these guys before in my life, and when I saw them I wasn't sure what to think, I didn't have very high expectations of them, but I was proven wrong when they played.
The band are on Deck Cheese Records, they played a good set and didn't disappoint many faces, when they
started playing the hall wasn't full at all, but by the second song it was full. They band were
entertaining through out there set.
Adequate 7
I tried and managed to film this band, although I must say, wasn't an easy job mainly because everyone
was being pushed forward so I kept getting pushed to the side, they played a really good set and
didn't disappoint, when they played everyone went absolutely mad! There was crowd surfing, and people
going mad. The more they played the more people wanted to hear them. This was my second time seeing them live, the first time I saw them was about 3 years ago, and to be honest I didn't think there set
was that great, but I could see how much they had improved. They had just released a single
'splitting up', which is very, very good. Hopefully they will be back again, soon.
